
The Pre-Booking process
When you pre-book your Gatwick parking online at Gatwick Parking, you will receive instant confirmation of your booking which will include full details, directions and a map showing the location of the car park that you have chosen. Alternatively, if you book by telephone, you can choose to receive email confirmation or confirmation by post.
When pre-booking your business or holiday parking space, you will need to pay using a credit or debit card at the time you make your booking. However, you can cancel or amend your booking should your travel plans change. Unlike some other sites, there is no charge for cancelling or amending your booking, provided that you do this at least 24 hours before the date and time detailed in your booking.
The Gatwick Parking Booking Process
Pre-booking your Gatwick parking with Gatwick Parking is quick, easy and free. Choose to make your booking either through our secure web site or by phoning our customer call centre.
All Gatwick parking bookings start with the terminal that you wish to park at. There are two terminals at Gatwick, North and South. If you are unsure which terminal you are flying from, if you know your airline and or destination, you will be able to clarify your terminal either through our BAA airports web site or when you phone us to make a booking. As well as knowing what terminal you wish to park at, you should also check your travel documentation to establish the date and times that you are travelling.
Once you have this information to hand, you are free to make your business or holiday parking booking. The process is as follows:
ON THE INTERNET: you will be asked to enter your terminal, dates of travel and approximate entry and exit time that you will arrive and depart from the car park. To see the Gatwick parking options that meet your needs, you should then click on the button "Check Prices". You will then be shown all the available parking options, together with the prices. For each BAA airport car park displayed there will be a recommendation of the type of parking that this car park best suits i.e. a shorter stay, or a longer stay, business or holiday parking. It will also give the time that it will take for you to reach the terminal from the car park. We have made these timings as honest and accurate as we can be and not, as some people do, say something takes 5 minutes when it really takes 15!
Also on this page, there is an "Info & Map" button which when clicked opens up more detailed information on the car park e.g. entry and exit procedures as well as a map showing the location.
Once you have chosen your Gatwick parking facility, you should click on the "Book" button. This will take you to a page where you confirm that the details of your booking, the dates and times are correct.
If you want to proceed, click on the "Book" button and you will be taken to the Personal and Payment details page. (If you want to cancel your choice, click remove and you will be returned to the start of the booking process.) You should enter your personal details together with your credit or debit card details. If you want us to remember your personal details to save re-entering them next time you want to book Gatwick parking, please tick the box shown (this is based upon cookies and is only applicable if you come back using the same computer).
Once you have entered all your personal and credit card details and accepted the terms and conditions, you should click on the "Confirm and Pay" button. This is the final booking stage and will result in payment being taken from the credit/debit card and will take you to a booking confirmation page which will contain your unique BAA airport booking reference number. You should print this page and always ensure that you use your booking reference in any communication with us. You will also receive an instant email which also confirms the details of the business or holiday parking booking you have made together with other important and useful information. Please also print this out.
