Secure Parking at Gatwick Airport

As the world’s busiest single-runway airport, safety and security are at the heart of everything we do. That's why we’ve invested millions of pounds on security at our car parks.

24-hour staff and CCTV

Gatwick’s car parks are manned 24-hours a day. Not only does this create a secure environment, it also means that there’s always someone on hand to help if you need it.

What’s more, all our car parks are equipped with CCTV to protect your vehicle and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Barrier control

All airport parking facilities are barrier-controlled. Additionally, the entrance barriers at our two Long Stay car parks – Long Stay South and Long Stay North – are fitted with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology. Not only is this convenient as your car will be 'recognised' at the barrier, it also acts as an additional security measure.

Indemnity Insurance Cover

Gatwick provides cover against any damage resulting from any proven act of negligence on the part of its workers.

Award-winning parking

Many of our car parks have been awarded the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Gold Secure Award, including:

• Holiday Parking

This award was initiated by ACPO to encourage car park operators to improve security standards in order to reduce criminal activity. The scheme is supported by the Home Office and the British Parking Association and is administered by the AA.
