Important information

From 15 June, we are re-opening our North Terminal for all flight arrivals and departures. All customers who are intending to park at Gatwick, or to pick-up / drop-off travelling passengers should use the short stay car park in the North Terminal.

The South Terminal multi-storey car parks (MSCP) 1,2 and 3 will be closed to passengers until further notice. 

Customers who are intending to park at Gatwick to use the rail station will still be able to access and park on Levels 0, 1 and 2 of MSCP 3 in the South Terminal.

Covid-19 safety measures

Our priority is to ensure that all our passengers and staff at the airport keep healthy and safe and follow the UK Government’s guidelines. There are four key things we would like you to do as you travel through the airport to protect yourselves and your fellow passengers. These are displayed throughout our car parks and terminals:

  • Wear a face covering while travelling through Gatwick
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Wash your hands regularly
  • Keep your hands clean on the go by using hand sanitiser

Please remember that you are required to follow government legislation and wear a face covering on all public transport. This includes our Long Stay shuttle buses.

Making a new booking

You can make new bookings for Official Gatwick Parking with confidence as our flexible cancellation policy allows you cancel free of charge up to 24 hours prior to travel.

Short Stay parking

Our Short Stay North car parks are located next to the terminal, providing quick and convenient direct access. There is no maximum stay duration and in addition to advance bookings the Short Stay North car parks remains open for drive-up customers who are intending to pick-up / drop-off travelling passengers.

As part of our Covid-19 special measures, the main touch points within the car parks, including Lifts, Trolley bays and Payment machines, are sanitised at regular intervals. Please follow all directional signage to make sure your movement around the car parks are as safe as possible.

We would encourage our customers to make any payments by credit / debit cards at the exit barriers rather than to queue at payment machines.

Valet parking

We are operating a new COVID-secure process for Valet parking which has been specifically designed to keep our passengers and staff safe and healthy and to follow Government guidelines on social distancing. This includes the following new measures:

  • We are specifically managing the check-in area to allow for social distancing
  • We will ask you to wait inside your vehicle whilst we carry out the necessary checks to keep contact to a minimum
  • Every vehicle will be sanitised before they are moved to secure storage
  • We will also sanitise your keys and vehicle before you pick them up

Valet parking is the perfect, safe option for fast and easy access to the terminal. On return, your car will be waiting for you in the Valet Parking area in the Short Stay North car park.

 Long Stay parking

Official Gatwick Airport Long Stay parking is a convenient and cost-effective option for those longer trips away. In response to Covid-19 we have implemented new special measures in the Long Stay car parks and Shuttle buses which include:

  • Hand sanitiser dispensers are located on each bus
  • Shuttle buses will be limited to 50% capacity to allow for social distancing
  • We will be cleaning each bus after every journey
  • The buses are completely sanitised at regular intervals

Please follow on site directional signage and instructions for alighting on to the Shuttle bus.

Please remember that you are required to wear a face covering whilst using the Long Stay shuttle bus, so please ensure that you bring this with you to the airport.
